Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in working directly with clients by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring projects are completed within budget. This is a full-time Seasonal position (May - October) however, the position could potentially turn into full time year-round.
Duties: - Analyze project specifications to determine project requirements - Create a thorough material list - Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information - Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment - Present final project cost to client- Monitor project and project costs throughout the construction process - Strong knowledge of Landscape/construction estimating principles and practices - Excellent analytical and mathematical skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong negotiation skills - Plant Knowledge is helpful but not necessary
